Dylan Edrich is a multi-instrumentalist, audio engineer, composer, and producer based in Oakland, CA. She has been touring the world and working as a session player since she was a teenager. She is known for her string arrangements, playing the violin, viola, and cello as well as piano, guitar, bass, voice, drums, and percussion. She has been working as a live engineer since 2007 and can still be found managing the sound crew at San Francisco’s finest dive bar, The Knockout. She received training in Composition and Musicology at NYU, where she studied at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music. After moving to the bay area, she got certified in Protools at SF City College and began recording local bands, using her expert ear and live sound chops to get great live recordings. She is also a highly-regarded music teacher. She continues to collaborate with artists all over as a session player, producer, and engineer and currently drums in a punk band called Warp.
