Jake Sucher (he/him) studied audio engineering and mixing while pursuing his MFA in Performer/Composer at California Institute of the Arts. As a recording and mixing engineer he has worked with Mirrors Ensemble, J Camden, Maya Nell, Snow Nerds, Man and the Smells, and 2HiTwoDie. Jake’s sound design for film and gallery installation has premiered at venues in the U.S. and South America. Today he can be heard performing with J Camden and Perhapsy, and is the co-creator of the Fountain Concert Series and Fountain Inc. Tapes. 

Born and raised in Chicago, Jake found his way out to California in 2010. He worked as a studio guitarist and professional musician in LA for more than a decade, recording guitar on Netflix’s Grace and Frankie and touring with several bands before settling in Oakland in 2021 with his spouse and small dog.
